Finnish Concert pianist Marko Mustonen (born 1984) made his first major performances in Helsinki Festival and as soloist of the Finnish Radio Symphony Orchestra in 2000-2001. Since then he has performed in numerous festivals and venues in Finland and abroad collaborating with different orchestras, instrumentalists and singers.
Marko Mustonen has studied piano at Yale University School of Music in USA and in Paris, France in addition to Sibelius-Academy in Finland. He is a prize-winner of several international piano competitions. Mr. Mustonen also teaches piano and currently holds a double position as accompanist/piano pedagogue in Finland. He has given masterclasses and concert-lectures in Finland and abroad during his career.
Mr. Mustonen’s repertoire consists of large-scale solo recital programs as well as major concerto, chamber music and lied repertoire. Recently he has pursued his ambitions by performing lesser known piano works as well as arrangements by romantic era composers.
